Travel and Design @ Yelagiri hills, Tamilnadu

A short day-trip to the hills of Yelagiri, a few hours from the city of Chennai in Tamilnadu, India, was an inspiration in design.

It's not as if one goes looking for design in all things, but the truth is, it's out there! The 'wow' factor is almost always in appreciation of the uniqueness of design - whether of man or beast.

Most of us, do not realise why something strikes us as so unique or beautiful, but I have found, that the order of it all, the placement, the colour and the combination seems to do the trick. This may be to different degrees, but yet, there is always something for everyone's taste.

Fundera Park, an aviary in the hills of Yelagiri, provided some respite from the heat and concrete of Chennai city and transported us to the bliss of nature in all its unique beauty and design - all in a day.
